- Four of the five seats held from Friday. Oil and gas exploration (IEO) came in at 97 and energy (XLE) slipped to 94. The oil fund kept its seat on a down day. That shows how far ahead of the field it ran this month.
Why They're Strong — Sector Issues

· Cybersecurity (BUG) — Up +2.98%, sheet RS rank 95, and +14.60% over five sessions. Rapid7 jumped +20.25% and Tenable +8.12%. No single report explained Monday's move, so this reads as money staying with last week's winners.

· Semiconductors (SOXX) — Up +2.85%, but the sheet RS rank is only 21. Analog names did the lifting: Texas Instruments +4.72%, NXP +4.64%, Analog Devices +4.31%. The fund is still -14.12% over one month and below its 1-month and 1-quarter averages.

· Aerospace and defense (XAR) — Up +2.60%, sheet RS rank 35. Lockheed Martin rose +5.13% after Morgan Stanley upgraded it on reduced F-35 uncertainty, according to reports. The fund still sits below all three moving averages.

· Cloud computing (WCLD) — Up +0.73%, sheet RS rank 98 and first place. Its 1-month return of +16.06% remains the best in our universe.
What Changed From Yesterday
- Cybersecurity (CIBR) posted the biggest one-day rank gain, 77 to 92. About half of it came from price. The other half came from a weak day a month ago leaving the calculation window.

- Clean energy (ICLN) fell from 43 to 26, and about two thirds of that drop was Monday's -2.93% price move. Friday's report said oil services would give back first if oil turned. Oil fell, yet oil services (OIH) still rose +1.27%. That call has not been tested yet.
1-Month RS Trend

- Cybersecurity (BUG) climbed from 62 to 98 over the window. Semiconductors (SOXX) touched 100 and now sit at 13. Humanoid robotics (HUMN) moved from 33 to 43, clean energy (ICLN) from 17 to 26, and communication services (XLC) dropped from 61 to 31.
RS Breakdown Warnings

- Natural gas (UNG) fell from 73 to 14, the deepest drop. Communication services (XLC), social media (SOCL), metaverse (METV), and e-commerce (EBIZ) joined it, so the warning now covers internet and media stocks just before Alphabet reports. Eight other funds met the point threshold but were dropped: seven rose on Monday, and one moved the other way on the sheet.
RS Rebound Signals

- Dividend REITs (SRET) rose from 24 to 60, the largest move. Humanoid robotics (HUMN), banks (KBWB), broker-dealers (IAI), pharmaceuticals (XPH), and space (UFO) also qualified. Three other funds met the threshold but fell on Monday and were dropped.

Why They Rose
- The rising table is two cybersecurity funds and three chip funds. The cybersecurity pair already rank near the top. The chip funds rank 21 to 31, so Monday was a bounce inside a downtrend. On the other side, clean energy (ICLN) -2.93%, fintech (FINX) -1.97%, the oil fund (USO) -1.95%, and communication services (XLC) -1.57% led the decliners.
Leading Sectors: Cybersecurity, Semiconductors, Aerospace and Defense
- ① Cybersecurity ranks 95 to 96 with all three moving averages below the price. Tenable reports on Wednesday. That is the first test of whether the rally has earnings behind it.
- ② Semiconductors led the rebound but rank only 21. A move back above the 1-month average would turn a bounce into a trend change.
- ③ Aerospace and defense ranks 35 and sits below every average. Lockheed's record backlog gives the group a reason, and L3Harris and General Dynamics report this week.
- ④ The last report covered the October 23 close. Its three picks from that close to Monday's: Zscaler +2.08%, Qualys +3.90%, and Seadrill -0.76%, against +0.70% for the S&P 500. Two of the three beat the market. Recorded as is.
