Why They’re Strong — Sector Issues

· Space (UFO) — Up +4.84%, sheet RS rank 41. Firefly Aerospace jumped +36.80%, Intuitive Machines +21.46%, and Redwire +16.48%. Rocket Lab added +15.39%. No single headline explains the move. The group had been sold hard with the rest of growth.

· Aerospace and Defense (XAR) — Up +4.57%, sheet RS rank 54. Karman soared +42.13% after record third-quarter revenue of $201.6 million and a $1.7 billion backlog. FTAI Aviation rose +10.97% and StandardAero +9.21%.

· Solar (TAN) — Up +3.38%, sheet RS rank 82. Shoals rose +12.06%, Array +10.47%, and Canadian Solar +7.86%. Shoals beat its own revenue guidance this week. Solar is one of the few groups with a rising rank and a rising price.

· Autonomous Tech and Robotics (ARKQ) — Up +5.45%, sheet RS rank 22. It moved with the chip rebound. The rank is still low, so this is a bounce, not a trend yet.
What Changed From Yesterday
- Biotechnology (IBB) posted the biggest one-day rank gain, 75 to 91. Over half of it came from Friday’s price. Aerospace (XAR) went from 50 to 64 on its own move. Space (UFO) climbed from 28 to 42, about a third of it from an old weak day leaving the window. Solar (TAN) rose from 68 to 81, into the top tier.

- Sports betting (BETZ) lost the most, 78 to 58, after a -4.19% day. Shipping (BOAT) fell from 42 to 27, and oil refiners (CRAK) from 26 to 12. Insurance (IAK) dropped from 95 to 84. Thursday’s report pointed to insurers as a place to hide. That shelter did not hold once tech bounced.
1-Month RS Trend

- Aerospace (XAR) rose from 2 to 64 over the window. Space (UFO) went from 7 to 42 after peaking at 75. Robotics (ARKQ) slid from 40 to 16. Medical devices (IHI) climbed from 36 to 100, and home construction (ITB) from 14 to 99.
RS Breakdown Warnings

- Oil and gas explorers (IEO) fell from 96 to 31, the deepest drop. Six more funds qualified: explorers (XOP), two cybersecurity funds, pipelines, shipping, and cloud computing. Eight other funds were dropped because Friday’s price moved the other way or stayed flat. Energy (XLE) and oil services were among them.
RS Rebound Signals

- Gold miners (GDX) jumped from 22 to 69, the strongest rebound. Junior gold miners, solar, silver miners, and clean energy followed. Metaverse, social media, robotaxi, and communication services (XLC) also qualified. Three other funds were dropped, including gold (GLD) and silver (SLV).

- Every fund in this table ranks 22 or lower. All sit below their moving averages. This was a rebound in the market’s weakest corners, not a change in leadership.
